About Me

- Name: zoltan newberry
- Location: Chicago, United States
Since I am almost 70, I tend to think about death too much of the time. It seems a lot of the people I have known & loved are dead people. I think of a dead girlfriend whenever I hear Fleetwood Mac, I think of Doc Holland (RIP), my high school quarterback, whenever I try to throw a spiral without ruining my rotator cuff, I think of a wonderful investment friend, dead of cancer before 60, whenever I have a tough decision to make....you get the idea. Most of us would prefer it if we did not have to die. One dear friend, a survivor of Auschwitz, (from the same Romanian Village as Ellie Wiesel), told me she wanted to die two years before she died, she felt so tired and beat all of the time. I'm not there yet. Waking up in the morning is still a peak experience - zooming up LS Drive in the morning as the sun is rising, battling with difficult markets all day, doing the work and practicing the discipline & remaining one of the best, loving dinners with my goddess & our 2 incredible teens, phonecalls from my loving, grown up daughter - these are the days I still have, this is the life I still live.
